Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: April 2026
These Terms & Conditions outline the agreement between Adam’s Painting & Decorating and the client. By requesting a quote or using our services, you agree to the terms set out below.
Quotations & Scope of Work
All quotations are based on the information provided at the time of enquiry. Any additional work, changes, or unforeseen issues may result in a revised quote. We always aim to communicate clearly and agree on any changes before proceeding.
Bookings & Scheduling
Bookings are confirmed once the quote is accepted and availability is agreed. We aim to complete all work within the estimated timeframe; however, schedules may be subject to change due to weather conditions, material availability, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Payments
Payment terms will be agreed upon before the start of the project. In some cases, a deposit may be required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is typically due upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in advance.
Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing access to the property and ensuring that the work area is clear where possible. While we take care to protect furniture and belongings, we recommend that valuable or fragile items are removed or secured prior to work commencing.
Workmanship & Standards
We carry out all work with a high level of care, skill, and professionalism. Our aim is to deliver a finish that meets agreed expectations. Any concerns should be raised as soon as possible so they can be addressed promptly.
Delays & External Factors
We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including weather conditions, supplier delays, or restricted access to the property. We will always communicate any delays and aim to minimise disruption.
Cancellations & Changes
If you need to cancel or reschedule your booking, we ask that you provide reasonable notice. Late cancellations may result in a charge, particularly where materials have been purchased or time has been allocated.
Liability & Insurance
We hold public liability insurance up to £1,000,000. While we take every precaution to protect your property, we are not responsible for pre-existing damage or issues that were not identified prior to the commencement of work.
Completion & Satisfaction
Upon completion, we aim to carry out a final walkthrough where possible to ensure you are satisfied with the work. Any final adjustments will be addressed within a reasonable timeframe.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be reflected on this page.
